LOCATION

Workshops are held in the straw studio, located in Brighton, Victoria.

The studio has a beautiful large north facing window and although the space is quite small, there is a beautiful energy and calmness about it.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will learn how to prepare straw, flatten it and then apply it to a substrate. This will be a small panel (200mm x 200mm) and it will be decorated in 4 traditional straw marquetry techniques which can then be framed or used as a reference.

For the 2nd half of 2025, Malady Designs is offering week day straw marquetry workshops at @25% discount.

$330 per day

(weekday only)

All tools and materials are provided.

Note: weekend workshops are $450 per day per person.
